Skyzone SteadyView X 7.5G (6.5–8.5 GHz) 72-channel video receive

Skyzone SteadyView X 7.5G is a highly efficient and noise-resistant analog receiver (VRX), designed for professional use and building remote ground stations. The main feature of this modification is operation in a non-standard extended frequency range from 6.5 to 8.5 GHz, which allows pilots to move away from the noisy standard 5.8 GHz and ensure high stability of communication over long distances.

The receiver operates on the basis of proprietary hardware mixing technology. Unlike conventional Diversity systems that simply switch between antennas, SteadyView X combines two analog signals into one, using a unique reconstruction algorithm and built-in narrow-band filters (Low Band Filter). This allows you to completely avoid image tearing and vertical rolling in complex multi-beam environments (urban areas, obstacles, complex terrain).

The device is equipped with a compact 0.96" color LCD screen and a convenient control wheel (Shuttle Wheel), which allows you to quickly switch between 72 channels without connecting additional devices. The built-in ELRS VRX Backpack module allows you to synchronize the frequencies of the receiver and video transmitter (VTX) in automatic mode using a Lua script on the remote control.

Key technical advantages and modes:

  • Operation in a non-standard range: Support for frequencies of 6.5–8.5 GHz opens up 72 channels, divided in a submenu into three operating sub-bands: 6.0–6.7 GHz, 6.2–7.5 GHz, and 7.5–8.6 GHz.

  • Flexibility of setting reception modes: The user has 5 modes available: three mixing options (Mix1, Mix2, Mix3) for maximum interference suppression, the classic Diversity mode, as well as work with one antenna (Single RX).

  • Wide input voltage range: With power support within the range of DC 6.5–26V (2S–6S LiPo), the module is easily integrated into remote masts and ground complexes.

  • Versatility: With the included Ground Station Kit, the module can be used as a remote receiver and connected via the AV-OUT port to any FPV goggles, helmets or monitors (Skyzone, Fatshark, Cobra, etc.).
